Living Our Wright Life - Candles is the result of creativity & ideas that bloomed into existence when I received a special Christmas present from my Mother-in-Law in 2021. We always create Elfster wish lists for Secret Santa exchanges during the holidays. Lately, instead of adding random items to my list, I decided to add books and learning kits of different things that I have been wanting to acquire more knowledge about. I couldn’t decide what to start learning first, so I made the list, said a prayer, and decided to leave it to serendipity.  My first learning kit was this candle making kit. 

I began to research candle making in the new year and decided to make the candles in the kit for my family for Valentine’s Day. Something changed within me when I made those candles. A spark was lit that I had not felt in a long time. Not only did they love my candles, but I also felt so happy making them and remembered just how much I love crafting and making things. It was like I had found a part of myself that I had lost years ago. From that moment on, I began to make candles for my family, friends, and neighbors. I wanted my gifts to look nice, so I began designing my brand and creating the labels for my products.  

Everyone I shared my candles with was going through their own unique challenges and seasons of life. I decided that labeling my candles with empowering, happy and uplifting words would serve as a repeated reminder that life is so beautiful even when we are learning through some challenging times. So as these words began to come to me in prayer, my Signature line began to grow, followed by the addition of some seasonally inspired scents. 

And that’s how one loving gift bloomed into many more gifts given and blossomed into the creation of my store Living Our Wright Life – Candles.

My products are made with no dyes, fragrance oils that are certified clean with no phthalates, and 100% soy wax. I tested all my candles to ensure that you would get the cleanest burning experience and all my candles are homemade and hand poured in Charlotte, NC.  

I look forward to continuing to grow my line of products as I learn more crafts. I called our company Living Our Wright Life because my husband and I are always focusing on designing our own Wright life. We hope that my products inspire you to keep designing your own.
